Masks - to be or to be someone else
We discussed various aspects of mask-making from carnival to theatre, the role of dressing up in the Venetian society, for Goldoni, Shakespeare, and Marivaux. We pondered over the masks of the modern age, the Internet and free speech in the post-industrial society, the politics of surgical masks... I thank him for the time and hope to gather enough content to make my initial project possible and publish the footage we shot together.
